The Conscious Closet
Every piece we make starts with a real pattern — an orchid, a wild cat's coat — photographed exactly as it exists in nature. Nothing is redrawn. Nothing is invented. That same respect for the real thing shapes how we make the clothes themselves.
Printed to order, not stockpiled
Nothing in this collection is made until someone orders it. There's no warehouse of unsold stock waiting to be discounted or discarded — every legging and crop top is printed and cut for the person who bought it, which means no overproduction and no waste sitting in a landfill because a color didn't sell.
Recycled polyester, not virgin plastic
Our fabric is a recycled polyester blend — made from material that already existed, not new plastic pulled from the ground. It's the same UPF 50+, four-way stretch performance fabric either way; the difference is what it's made from.
Built to meet EU safety standards, not just look the part
Every product we sell is checked against the EU's General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) — flammability, formaldehyde, azo dyes, lead, cadmium, bisphenols, and phthalates limits are all verified, and our EU-based responsible person is listed on every listing, not buried in fine print. If you ever have a question about what's in your clothes, Oak inc. / SINDEN VENTURES LIMITED is reachable directly at gpsr@sindenventures.com or by post at Markou Evgenikou 11, Mesa Geitonia, 4002, Limassol, Cyprus.
Why it matters to us
We didn't design the orchid. We didn't design the wild cat's coat. Nature did that, long before we photographed it. Treating the pattern honestly — real, unaltered, sourced with care — only means something if the fabric it's printed on is made with the same honesty. That's the whole idea behind Catch of Nature: not just what the print looks like, but what actually went into making it.
